258 registrations on a $500 a month ad budget: how Jam Anderson rebuilt her webinar funnel with Claude

Robyn "Jam" Anderson runs Meta Ads to an automated weekly webinar and then to a free trial of Club Jam, her paid membership, and she used Claude to build that funnel. Claude helped her set up the webinar funnel, write the landing pages, update her website banner and create the tagging and automations in ActiveCampaign. An everwebinar system runs the event and gives the data back to Claude. She says setup went from 1-2 days to about 20 minutes, and she cut her Meta ad budget from $3,000 a month to $500. She reports 258 registrations, 70 live attendees, 15 new members and zero cancellations.

The problem

Her old funnel went from a Lookalike Audience straight to a free trial. She says more people were taking the trial, but “most of them were people getting in to our classroom downloading all of our content and then cancelling.” She also wasn’t qualifying anyone before they joined. She wanted a community “filled with people who genuinely want to learn, participate, and grow.” So she stopped everything. She says the problem was not the ads.

The blueprint (as she describes it)

  1. Go back to a funnel that worked before. She returned to a funnel she used in 2020: Meta Ads, then a webinar, then a free trial. The webinar gives people time to hear how she teaches and understand what the community offers. They can then decide if it is right for them before reaching the trial. In her words: “I took my 2020 strategy and AI-ified it.”
  2. Build the system with Claude. She used Claude to help her set up the webinar funnel, write the landing pages, update the banner on her website, and create the tagging and automations inside ActiveCampaign, which is her email system.
  3. Run the event on an everwebinar system. It runs the main event and then gives the data back to Claude. The post does not say how that data is passed back.
  4. Test on a small budget. She reduced her Meta ad budget from $3,000 a month to $500. She writes, “I wanted to prove the funnel worked before spending more money on it.”
  5. Automate the webinar weekly. She turned the webinar into an automated experience that runs every Thursday. She says “It still has the energy and structure of a live event”, but she does not have to deliver it personally each week.
  6. Scale gradually and track retention. Now that she knows the system works, she plans to increase the ad budget gradually. She tells readers to track how many people stay, not just how many join.

Stated results

  • 258 people registered for the webinar.
  • 70 attended live.
  • 15 became members.
  • Zero have canceled.
  • Projected 4.4x return on ad spend. This depends on members staying for three months, so it is a projection, not a result.
  • Setup time went from 1-2 days to about 20 minutes with Claude.
  • She does not say over what period the 258 people registered or how many months she ran the $500 budget.
  • Old funnel numbers: None stated. The headline says she “Tripled My Leads,” but the post does not show the before numbers.
  • Her reaction: “Damn, that worked really well.”

Caveats

  • This is her own Substack post, and it is also marketing. She sells Club Jam ($47 a month or $347 for the whole year, with a VIP tier at $97 a month). The post promotes a workshop on this exact system on Sept 10th at 11am MST inside Club Jam. She also sells AI courses.
  • The 4.4x ROAS assumes the 15 members stay three months. The post does not give any revenue or cost totals behind it.
  • “Leads” is not defined. The tripling claim cannot be checked from the post.
  • The post does not say which everwebinar product is used or how the data reaches Claude.
  • She says the biggest lesson “wasn’t about AI” but about qualifying the right people.

FAQ

What did Jam Anderson use Claude for in this funnel?

She used Claude to help set up the webinar funnel, write the landing pages, update her website banner and create the tagging and automations in ActiveCampaign. An everwebinar system runs the event and gives the data back to Claude.

How much did she spend on ads?

She cut her Meta ad budget from $3,000 a month to $500. The post does not say how many months she ran the $500 budget.

Is the 4.4x return on ad spend a real result?

No, it is a projection. She says she will reach it if the 15 new members stay for three months.

Did she really triple her leads?

The headline says so, but the post does not show the old funnel’s numbers. None are stated, so the tripling cannot be checked from the post.
