Privacy
We use information you submit to provide the service. Optional analytics stays off unless you accept it. We don't sell your personal information.
What you submit
Your email address when you subscribe, and whatever you type into the sponsor, Get It Built or contact forms.
Who processes it
Subscribers are stored in Sendiio. Emails are sent through Emailit. Form messages are relayed to us by email. Spam checks run through Cloudflare Turnstile.
Optional analytics and session recordings
If you choose “Accept analytics,” we use Google Analytics to understand page visits and Microsoft Clarity to understand clicks, scrolling and site usability through heatmaps and masked session recordings. These services can receive technical information such as browser and device details, page addresses and network information, and use cookies to distinguish visits. Clarity recordings reconstruct interactions with the site; they are not recordings of your camera or microphone.
We do not load these analytics services before you accept. We keep advertising consent denied, do not send custom user identifiers or form submissions to analytics, and mask page content for Clarity, including form fields. Tracking is excluded from private download, confirmation and unsubscribe pages, from URLs containing unknown query parameters or fragments, and after private same-site referring pages. Clarity is also excluded from every query-bearing URL and from visits with query strings or fragments in the referring URL. Google Analytics page addresses omit query strings and fragments, and referrers are reduced to their HTTP(S) origin, without paths, query strings, fragments or credentials. For campaign links, only predefined source, medium and campaign labels are passed to Google Analytics; arbitrary tracking values are omitted.
Google and Microsoft process this information under their own privacy terms and may process it outside your country, including in the United States. Read Google's Privacy Policy, Microsoft's Privacy Statement and Clarity's cookie information.
Your analytics choice
Accepting is optional. Rejecting analytics does not affect access to the site, forms or downloads. Use “Analytics settings” in the footer to change your choice at any time. Rejecting after accepting stops further tracking, clears the analytics cookies this site can access and reloads the page; it does not erase information already received by the providers. We remember your choice in this browser for up to 180 days. If browser storage is unavailable, we ask again on your next page. We keep optional analytics off when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track.
Other browser storage
The site also uses browser storage to remember dismissal of the Build Pack popup and a subscriber cookie to avoid showing it to confirmed subscribers. These are separate from optional analytics.
Payments
Paid services are billed through Stripe payment links. We never see your card details.
Google Analytics sends one explicit page view per eligible document. Stream Enhanced Measurement is disabled.
