How Chelle Honiker replaced her Make.com social workflow with her own app and a Claude plugin

Chelle Honiker used to create social media content from her books with a three-step Make.com workflow that pulled from Airtable. She replaced it with an app she built, authorautomations.social. She says the app creates 30 days of content from your books and posts to 13 social media channels. A Claude plugin lets an author ask Claude in plain English to create posts and schedule them through the app.

The problem

Chelle’s old setup was “a three-step Make.com workflow that required Airtable as a data source to create social media content from my books.” She taught it at conferences and in the Hub, and she says Make.com and Zapier social workflows were “my bread and butter for two years.”

The blueprint (as she describes it)

  1. Retire the old pipeline. She replaced the Make.com and Airtable workflow with authorautomations.social. In her words, “The whole Airtable-to-Make pipeline that used to power this is gone.”
  2. Generate content from the books. She says the app creates 30 days of content in minutes from your own books. The formats she lists are TikTok videos, carousels and captions.
  3. Post across channels. She says it posts to 13 social media channels “in your voice, with your content.” The post does not list the channels.
  4. Drive it from Claude. A Claude plugin connects Claude to the app. Her example prompt is: “Create 20 TikToks and post them to TikTok over the next week to promote Book 1 before Book 2 launches.” She says Claude “reads the context on your own machine, generates the content, and uses authorautomations.social to schedule and post it.”
  5. Keep the old tools for narrower jobs. She still runs Make.com and Zapier workflows. She calls them “solid for scheduled data transfers and on-demand tasks,” but agentic AI is now her first choice.

Stated results

None stated. The post gives no figures for posts published, engagement, sales or time saved. “30 days of content in minutes” and “13 social media channels” describe what the app does, not measured outcomes.

Caveats

  • She is selling the app in this post. It is “free for Founder subscribers and $29/month for everyone else.” The newsletter itself has free and paid subscriptions.
  • The post also promotes upcoming webinars, including a walkthrough of the app and the Claude plugin, and a summit where Day 1 is free.
  • The post gives no setup steps for the plugin. It does not say whether a human approves posts before they go live.
  • She also changed her conference talk: she “scrapped it (with permission) and taught social media using agentic AI instead.”
  • X: Unverified not checked.
