# How Eniko Tarkany-Szucs built a Claude agent that scouts conference speaker slots and drafts pitches

Eniko Tarkany-Szucs built a small Claude agent to search for speaker opportunities for her. Every week it finds tech, AI, media, creativity and startup conferences across Europe and the US. It sorts them by speaker deadline, tells her which of her topics fits each one, and drafts a pitch to speak or moderate. It never sends anything, and she reviews every draft. She published both prompts in the post and its first comment. She says getting on stage "is less about being discovered and more about being early." No results are stated.

## The problem
She opens with a conference that "added AI-generated women avatars to its line-up to show diversity." The post does not name the conference. She started Women Everywhere because "there is no shortage of women with something worth saying on stage," and says she needs to revive it. She built the agent "to do the proactive search for speaker opportunities for me."

## The blueprint (as she describes it)
1. **Set the scouting scope (prompt 1).** The agent is told: "Act as my conference scout." It looks for conferences 3 to 9 months from today in the regions and categories you fill in. It is told to "Include flagship, mid-size, niche and community events." It searches each category and region separately "so smaller events aren't missed." Her rule in the post is to look 3 to 9 months ahead, "not at next months events."
2. **Give it a profile.** The prompt has brackets for 2 to 3 lines on your role and background, 3 to 6 topics you want to speak about, real proof points (past talks, panels, communities, results), and the formats you are open to (keynote, panel, moderator, workshop).
3. **Define the output for each event (prompt 2).**
   - Name, dates, city, format and official website link.
   - Speaker application deadline and link.
   - A 2 sentence summary of what the event covers.
   - Which of her topics fits best and why, with a fit score of High, Medium or Low.
   - A speaker or moderator pitch under 150 words. It opens with why this event, proposes one session title and uses only her real proof points.
   - A separate free pass request under 100 words, to use only if the speaker pitch doesn't work out.
4. **Stop it guessing.** Only events with confirmed dates and an official website are included. If a deadline, contact or price can't be confirmed, it writes "not found" and never guesses. Her rule in the post is to check everything on the event's own site before pitching.
5. **Sort by urgency.** Results are sorted by speaker deadline, soonest first. Any deadline within 14 days is flagged at the top.
6. **Lead with the speaker pitch.** She asks for a free pass only if the speaker pitch doesn't work out.
7. **Avoid repeats and re-run weekly.** Prompt 2 takes a pasted list of events already seen so they aren't repeated. The instruction is: "Run it again each week to catch new events."
8. **Review everything by hand.** "It never sends anything, and I review every draft."

## Stated results
None stated.

## Caveats
- This is her own LinkedIn post, not vendor-hosted. It tags Claude's LinkedIn showcase page. She does not sell a product, course or kit here. The prompts are given free in the post and comment, and she writes that she won't ask readers to comment "x" to receive "y".
- No results are stated: no counts of events found, pitches sent, acceptances or talks given.
- The post says "Every week it finds" events, but prompt 2 says "Run it again each week." The prompts suggest a manual weekly re-run, not a scheduled agent. The source does not describe any scheduling.
- She says the prompt works in Claude "or another AI with web search turned on." The source does not say which Claude product or plan she uses.
- In the source text, prompt 2/2 appears before prompt 1/2. Prompt 1 is the setup and prompt 2 is the output format.
- Her current job is not stated in this source.
